Make a super Dino Stomp! sandwich
by Natalie Keeler

For kids who love Dinosaur Stomp – the grumpy triceratops who just wants to be left alone (relatable) – this dino dinner will be a hit with little tums.

We recommend using clean kitchen scissors to snip the bread, and prep the more fiddly bits of this recipe, like the cucumber foliage, before your child gets stuck into helping.

This activity can also be found inside The World of Dinosaur Roar! magazine, which is on sale now. We've packed this magazine with colouring, puzzles, games, stickers, and tons of dino facts – pick up your copy from the Giggly shop online or in most supermarkets.

How to make your dinosaur sandwich

Step 1

Cut the bread or toast into the shape of Stomp's head (or use the template inside The World of Dinosaur Roar! Magazine), and cut out a circle for his body. You might like to use a cookie cutter or cup to help you.

Step 2

Grab a cheese slice and cut out 2 circles for his eyes and 3 triangles for his horns.

Step 3

You might like to add a sandwich filling here. Then, pop Stomp's head on top and add your cheese shapes.

Step 4

Use olive slices to finish Stomp's eyes, beak and nostrils. Use the bread to legs and add cheesy triangle claws.

Step 5

Finish with cucumber foliage and a lettuce leaf for Stomp to eat.
