Why we'll be at Godstone Farm for a Summer of Fun
Your next family day out, sorted!
The school holidays are just around the corner, and we can’t tell you how excited we are to start logging off, winding down, and having a bit of family time.
Godstone Farm in Surrey is top of the list for us this year, especially as from Saturday 24th July, it’ll be kicking off its Summer of Fun with a jam-packed schedule of activities, events, and special appearances. Not to mention the brand new ‘The World of Dinosaur Roar! Discovery Trail’, which features life-size versions of your kids’ favourite dino characters. Trust us, if your child loves dinosaurs, you won’t want to miss this!
On the trail you’ll wander through the farm’s magical woodland setting, completing fun challenges and spotting different creatures along the way. There will also be a dinosaur-themed itinerary, including the chance to meet some of the Dinosaur Roar! characters (including Dinosaur Roar! himself).
Elsewhere at Godstone Farm, you can explore the rabbit walk, top barn, pond walk, and farm trail. It’s the best time of year to visit because you can meet all the baby animals that were born at the farm in spring, from goat kids and bunnies to cute chicks and ducklings – plus a miniature Shetland foal. We’ll be making a beeline to the dedicated animal handling area.
Don’t miss the enormous adventure playground, too, where your child can run and climb, hurtle down the all-weather toboggan and zip lines, and play in the sandpit while you enjoy views of the Surrey Hills.
If you spot showers on the horizon, Godstone Farm also has a brilliant indoor play area with a cafe, so you can sit back with a hot drink and snack as your little one burns off some steam. Or, if you haven’t brought a picnic, swing by the new restaurant, The Courtyard Kitchen, for a bite to eat.
The fun won’t stop at the end of the day, either. On 30th-31st July and 6-7th August, Godstone Farm will be hosting The Big Farm Sleepover – an all-inclusive two-night camping experience for families. Perfect for both seasoned campers or camping newbies, expect tractor rides, after-hours animal encounters, treasure hunts, and stargazing. And of course, no camping experience is complete without toasting marshmallows around the campfire!
Summer of Fun runs from 24th July to 31st August – pre-book tickets online now at godstonefarm.co.uk.
Godstone Farm is situated in the Surrey Hills at Tilburstow Hill Rd, Godstone RH9 8LX.
