You will need:
- 240ml warm water
- 115g sugar
- 120ml washing-up liquid
How to make bubble mix
Pour the sugar into the warm water. Stir until it dissolves.
Add the washing-up liquid and stir to foam up the bubbles.
Wait an hour or so for it to settle, then it’s ready to use.
Creating a mixture is science – and even little kids can learn something by watching different materials blend together to become something new. Plus, bubble blowing appeals to all of the senses, which is calming and just makes you smile! Why not focus on the bubbles themselves? What can your child think of that is heavier or lighter than a bubble? See if they can stay still enough for a bubble to land on them. What colours can they see in the bubble?
